In the Midwest, the closest pediatric center is often hundreds of miles away. Children's Mercy has partnered with LCHS to improve access to specialized epilepsy care by providing telemedicine opportunities. Tara Powell, DNP, APRN, CPCN-PC is a supporting practitioner at Logan County Health Services. Tara and her staff members will set-up and operate the telemedicine equipment with your epilepsy specialist and help answer questions during your visit.
