Aimee Zimmerman
CEO
Aimee started her nursing career 25 years ago in southwest Kansas after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Fort Hays State University. In 2001, she began working as a nurse at LCHS. Aimee took the roles of Risk Manager and Quality Director in 2006 and built the outstanding risk and quality programs still utilized today. In 2013, she became the Chief Operations Officer (COO). Aimee has served on the board of the Kansas Association of Risk and Quality Management (KARQM) for 11 years, serving as President for two of those years. She also mentors new risk and quality professionals across the state. Aimee serves on the Kansas Hospital Association’s Quality and Patient Safety Committee and the Policy and Advocacy Committee. In 2020, Aimee earned her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University. In 2022, Aimee was named the Chief Executive Officer.
Joe Meyer
CFO
Joe Meyer joined the LCHS team in September of 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer. The CFO oversees and manages the costs and budget of the hospital, reviews financial reports, suggests improvements in departmental efficiencies, and works closely with the CEO and board of directors to report on the financial condition of the hospital. Joe has been employed in the financial and healthcare industries for over 31 years. Joe grew up in southwest Kansas and attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. Following college, Joe was in the banking industry for 10 years in Kearney and McCook, NE. The past 21 years, Joe has been the Chief Financial Officer at hospitals in Lakin, KS and Scott City, KS. Joe states that his greatest accomplishment is raising his 4 children (all Fort Hays State University graduates) with his wife.
Robert Mangold
CNOO
Robert started his career in healthcare by taking an EMT course in 2007, then becoming a CNA in 2009. He received his Associate Degree in Nursing from Barton Community College and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University. Prior to starting at Logan County Health Services, Robert has worked as a Floor Nurse, Emergency Room Nurse, Operating Room Nurse, Nursing Education Coordinator, Surgery Supervisor and Director of Nursing. Robert began working for LCHS as the Director of Nursing in 2019 and became the Chief Operations Officer (COO) in April of 2022. As COO, he is responsible for operations and oversight of all clinical aspects at LCHS. He obtained his Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management in August 2022. Robert is a current member of the Kansas Organization of Nurse Leaders and serves as the Chairperson for District 5B.
