What can you expect?
A licensed therapist will meet with you one-on-one to review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and then ask you to complete a variety of special tests and objective measures to find impairments that exist. After reviewing the results of your evaluation, an individualized treatment plan will be created for you to decrease pain, increase strength and range of motion, and restore function. This plan of care is inclusive of meaningful goals to get you back to the things you want to do!
Treatment sessions that follow the initial evaluation and may include:
- Therapeutic exercise – guided exercise prescription (land or aquatic) and home exercise program development
- Modalities – traction, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, iontophoresis or Hivamat
- Manual Therapy – soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, manual traction, cupping, or instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization
- Balance training
- Gait training
The frequency and duration of your specific plan of care will be discussed to best fit your rehab goals as well as your life style. We strive to make you feel well cared for and we have fun in the process. Your satisfaction is our number one goal!
